First look-Thakoon

The best look this fall as without a doubt the eye shadow used at the Thakoon show. The eye makeup was bright and sparkly and very beautiful. This look was created by artist Diane Kendal, using a number of products. The Nars Ubangi eye shadow was used as a base and on the top of this color was applied a mixture of black and cobalt eye shadows also from the Nars brand. The blue eye shadow bas was stretched all the way to the outer edge of the eye and was followed by a lot of cream liner that was black in color and loads of glitter in shades of rose, gold and bronze.

 Second look- Jason Wu

Makeup artist Diane Kendal also worked with designed Jason Wu to create a look for this show. Kendal mixed up two eye shadow colors to get one vibrant indigo shade-that would reflect the color of Wu’s final piece. Kendal started by using the purple liner on the lashes to create a cat’s eye look, and then followed the application of blue eye shadow on the entire lid focusing on the outer edge and the lower lid close to the lashes. The final touch was the application of a shimmery lilac color to soften the blue shadow.

Graphic black eye  shadow was the chosen look and was created by Dick Page, this was created using the application of black eye shadow from the mid of the eye lid to the outer edge in a square shape. After this was applied the purple pink eye shadow on the inner part of the eye lid and under the brows to create a simple yet dramatic look.

The eye shadow colors used were a mix of the rational black and grays with colors like lilac, blue, indigo that were styled into unusual designs using similar colors that also included the mix of unlike colors. The most dramatic looks also included Marc Jacobs and Anna Sui.
