Does continuing men’s Rogaine make any difference when I am due to get a hair transplant done?

I am experiencing hair loss for over 5 years now, and finally I have garnered sufficient money to get a hair transplant done. I am 33 years old, and after my friend’s advice I took on men’s Rogaine for men around 7 months ago, however, I could not notice any considerable change in my hair loss. I know hair transplants do not promise 100% cure of hair loss, but I am still keen on giving it a shot. Nonetheless, I want to know from some hair expert whether it is advisable to continue men’s Rogaine even when I am due to get a hair transplant done in a few months’ time. Please advice aptly! Thanks.
