2. Darkening your hair with rosemary and sage

3. Lightening your hair with lemon and chamomile
If you do not wish to darken your hair and wish to go for a blonde look i.e. light hair color, then you should use chamomile tea and then add lemon juice in equal proportion, just as chamomile tea. Now, take lemon juice and chamomile tea properly in a cup and mix it thoroughly. The ingredients should be grinded well and to do the same, you may take the help of a food processor.
The mixture is then mixed properly as well. And after this mixture is combined in a proper manner, it is ready to be applied onto your hair. After applying it, leave it till the time the hair dries out completely. The strengths of all hair colors vary and depending on the same, you need to apply the solution many a times. The process is repeated till the desired color effects are successfully achieved.
4. Reddish tints
Henna is a very good option if you are fond of red hair color. It is a general assumption that henna produces a black color as the end product. But the reality is that when it is diluted in water, henna gives a rich reddish or otherwise a brownish color to the hair. There are many other shades that come in red and to get those color effects that you like, you can add many other herbs to the henna that you are using. Leave this mixture of henna on your hair till the time it dries out completely. After it gets dried, you can wash and rinse your hair thoroughly and gently like usual.
Vegetable hair dyes are the ones where you need to invest time as repetitions are essential when you want a desired color or the color intensity. To get the hair color done well, you should leave the color for as much long as possible and repeat the same process after a few days.
