I have a small patch in my beard, and my friend told me that it is a sign of alopecia areata. I am 17 years old, and I never expected such a thing happening to me! I searched out on this thing, and could get to know only a few things about it! Nonetheless, could not get any information about young people suffering from alopecia areata, as major of them were adults. Can some skin expert please advice, what shall I do with this patch, which is although not really prominent, but it does annoy me? Is there some advanced ointment that could be used over it? Please advice appropriately! Thanks.
