So a month ago I did my hair a semi-permanent red over my naturally medium brown hair but didn’t like the outcome. However, I decided I would just wait out the 28 washes. Well it’s been more than 28 and it isn’t fading so I bought a semi-permanent cool medium brown. I just want my natural hair color back before school starts and I am desperate. If I color it the brown will I am able to just leave and let the roots grow out or will it be two different colors.
