Which highlights would look great on red hair, without getting ugly once started fading?

I was planning to be a vampire for the upcoming Halloween party. I have my costume ready, with lenses and fake teeth. However, I am still not able to decide for the highlights for my reddish brown colored hair. I have warm skin tone and I am 21 years old. I was pondering over getting honey blonde highlights for my red hair, but a friend advised me that once the highlight starts fading, it turns into copper color, which doesn’t look good. I would like to know from some hair expert what could be idle highlights for my red colored hair, which would not look ugly once start fading! Please advice aptly! Thanks.
