I recently had my waist-length hair cut by my long-time stylist of about fifteen years. I gave him only four directives before he began that to make it age-appropriate, easy to maintain, flattering, and no coloring. The resulting cut is just okay and not the transporting experience which I had hoped for. While it is true that the new style’s unfamiliarity may be adding to my unhappiness, it’s just not flattering. In fact, it is just the way my mother-in-law wears her hair. If you were me, would you live with it, call the stylist and tell him the situation, or make an appointment with someone new? Please advice. Thanks.
