4 natural remedies for treating dandruff

Dandruff

Most of us have faced the problem of dandruff at some point in our lives. In reality, it is just dead cells of the skin on the scalp of our head. The death of the cells causes flakiness on everyone’s heads. However, if these cells clump and form oiliness such that it itches and sheds on to your clothes, then it is dandruff. Dandruff may be caused due to many reasons. It may be a fungal infection that is causing your scalp skin to flake. It may even be due to wrong usage of synthetic shampoos. During winter, the skin dries on our body as well as our scalp. Excess drying of scalp may cause skin to flake too. Diseases like dermatitis may cause dandruff, as well. In fact, unhealthy bowel conditions may also cause dandruff. This arises from indigestion and an unbalanced diet. While the causes of dandruff are plenty, quite a number of remedies are available that you can try at home.
