Makeup Behind the Wheel

Everybody is completely aware of the fact that one should not be interrupted when behind the wheel. Imagine what would happen if you suddenly got distracted whilst you are zooming on the speedy expressway, the result can actually be quite harrowing. But what do you do when the world seems to be rotating in a break-neck speed and time just doesn’t let you take that calm breath. Then you do have to take that chance and do some multitasking while driving. What if you have to attend an important gig and make up but you just do not have that time to turn yourself into a dazzling damsel. Of course it is a bad habit but sometimes you just do not have an alternative. If you do not appear in your most excellent form, you might not be able to have a happy rendezvous at all. What if your rival or even your best friend comes in all dolled up; you will definitely feel sorry forever. So, even if your days are hectic as ever, just give yourself sometime behind the wheel, utilize your rear-view mirror and go for that transformation. If done properly, it can be pretty effortless and convincingly secure. Here are some significant tips which can help you in doing make up behind the wheel.

1) Be ready

You have to stash all the essential makeup stuff in a makeup bag and keep it in your car definitely. You should also be sure that the things you carry are good for you and will surely help you in making yourself look good. Put your makeup bag on the seat next to you and tutor your hand to be aware of where all the things are. That will be good as then you can just stretch out and reach for the stuff you want. It will also be great if your makeup bag has a pouch, all your makeup brushes and eyeliners can be kept in there. Remember, they are the most difficult to find when you are fumbling around in traffic.

2) Prepare from home

Make sure that you are well prepared from home. It is advisable to apply your foundation and moisturizer at home. When the car is moving at a fast pace most of the times, it will be very complicated to apply them while you are looking out for the traffic. So, if you finish some tasks at home like putting on the moisturizer and foundation, your skin not only soaks up the moisturizer, it also lets the foundation gel on your skin. You can leave the eye shadow or lipstick for later in the car as that is not such a tricky stuff to do.

3) Conceal it right

The next aspiring undertaking would be the application of makeup items like the concealer. Try to go for the liquid type which comes along with an applicator attached to the tube. If you go for pot concealers, you have to take your eyes off the road for a longer while which can be quite unsafe. Touch the concealer lightly in swift actions on the apt places while also keeping your eyes on the road. After all the parts are covered up, use your index finger to merge in the concealer to your skin. You must drive on for sometime after that. Keep in mind, hasty stuff will not only make you have bad makeup, it can also cause accidents. After that, take hold of your powder and brush and in just a few movements, dust powder all over your face. Do not do the mistake of closing your eyes. Always bear in mind that this time you are beautifying yourself while you are driving a car.

4) Do up your eyes

It is most appropriate to apply eyeshadow when you have stopped at a traffic signal or you are in incredibly congested traffic. This is so because while you apply eyeshadow, your eyes have to remain shut for quite sometime. Apply on one eye at a time and take extended gaps between both the eyes. The most important thing is to split your focus as uniformly as possible. Use the same idea while applying eyeliner too. If you are not so confident, put your eyeliner after you park your car. One of the concluding make up stuff that you do is applying your mascara. Keep the tube sandwiched between your thighs and do not ever fully shut your eyes.

5) Add some color

The subsequent step is to bring some color to your cheeks and this can be done by putting on a good blush. It will be handy if you use the same powder brush as it saves time and effort. Give yourself a couple of quick glances in the mirror and apply the blush in swift movements. After that it is time to put the final touches with lipstick and lip-gloss. Try to opt for clear lip-gloss as it will not look too bad even if it smears up a little. Do not even attempt to put too dark lipstick on while you steer as you will end up looking very funny indeed.
