1. A doubled boiler

2. Grated beeswax approximately 1 tbsp

3. Coconut oil about 1 tbsp

4. Pomace olive oil about 2 oz

5. An immersion blender

6. A colored glass jar

7. Water just about 2 tbsp

8. Essential oils 1-2 drops only

Instructions

1. Start melting the beeswax

Commence with placing the doubled boiler on the gas stove. Add beeswax in the top pan of the doubled boiler. You need to melt this wax on the boiling water of the pan below. The beeswax does not have to be melted directly on the gas, hence the doubled boiler is used.

2. Mixing the oils

As you melt the beeswax, add the olive oil, coconut oil and essential oils to the melting wax. Keep stirring the mixture till the beeswax is melted properly and all the oils are mixed into it well.

3. Whip the oily mixture

Now take the pan off the boiling water. Use an immersion blender or a crafts stick to intermingle this well prepared mixture. Keep mixing the mixture till it turns into fluffed up foam.

4. Add water

Once the mixture converts into fluffy foam, you need to sprinkle 2 tbsp of water to it. Keep stirring as you sprinkle water.

5. Permit the mixture to cool down

Let the mixture cool down properly. However, amid the cooling process of the mixture, keep mixing the mixture after every 15 minutes with the help of a blender. Finally, once it cools down pour the mixture into the colored jar and use it as and when it is required.
