Instructions

1. Soak your feet

In a flat tub, pour 1 cup milk and 5 cups of warm water. In this warm liquid soak your feet for about 10 to 15 minutes.

2. Scrub your feet

Prepare a homemade scrub to remove the dead cells on your feet. One homemade scrub that best works is to mix 4 tbsp salt or sugar with half a cup of oil. You can use oils like baby oil, coconut oil, sweet almond oil, or even vegetable oil.

3. Massage your feet gently

Giving circular strokes towards the bottom of your feet, gently massage your feet with the homemade scrub.

4. Scrub with pumice stone:

Once you have applied the homemade scrub to your feet with the help of a pumice stone, gently scrub your feet. Scrubbing helps you get rid of the dead skin on the feet and it gives a smooth feeling to your skin.

5. Rinse your feet

After thoroughly scrubbing your feet, rinse your feet in water and pat it dry.

6. Rub Stridex pad

Stridex pads would be available in the acne section of any drug store. It contains 2% salicylic acid that acts as a great exfoliate to the feet. Over the dry areas of your feet, rub in a pad of Stridex.

7. Apply moisturizer

You need not wash Stridex to apply moisturizer. Apply moisturizer thickly on your feet. Try Vaseline, cocoa butter, or any other moisturizer.

For much better results, you could also use “Keralyt” gel. Apply a thin layer of it on your feet along with Vaseline.

8. Pull on socks

Put on your socks. Do not remove them immediately. For best results keep your socks on for at least 4 hours.
