That should not be done and a women should have a few nail care tools handy in her bag, whenever it is required. Let us have a look at five essential nail care tools.
1. Cuticle Nipper
When hands get dry, your cuticles tend to dry out and jut out around your nails. This can be a very ugly looking sight if the cuticles are left as it is. Nip them out with a cuticle nipper. Do not overdo and hurt yourself as these cuticles are very delicate pieces of skin. Use a small nipper and nip only those parts which are jutting out. Also, be careful you don’t draw blood by nipping delicate skin the cuticle is attached to.
2. Glass Filer
Shape your ugly looking nails with a glass filer. Nails grow very fast and turn out of shape in no time. A glass filer will be useful in keeping them in shape whenever and wherever you wish to do it. Keep it handy in your handbag and use it when you get the time. Keep you nails smooth on the edges and prevent any kind of peeling, chipping or even split nails. Filing them gives a great look and makes them look stylish.
3. Cuticle Pusher (Round)
The nail bed is where the dead skin settles down if you do not remove it in time. These dead cuticles look ugly on your nails and hence need to be removed. Use a round-shaped cuticle pusher so that these cuticles can be removed well. A square shaped one would not be that effective in removing cuticles as you have rounded nail beds. The round shaped one does the trick well. Keep a habit of removing cuticles whenever you see them growing.
4. 4-Sided Buffer
A 4-sided buffer is required to keep your nails in the most healthy state. You won’t need a manicure when you have this buffer in your handbag. This buffer will first help you file your nails, then buff them to give them a healthy look and then polish them to give a shine that no other thing can give. A buffer costs very less and is a sure beneficial investment. When you feel your nails need that extra great look, buff them and polish them in minutes and there you are with great looking nails. Just give a coat of liquid polish over them and you are ready to party.
5. Toothpicks or orange sticks
Sometimes, nail polish or varnish gets on your cuticles and looks bad. Orange sticks or toothpicks will help you remove it. You can even use them to apply decals or glitter to your nails. Mainly they do the work of cleanup after applying polish on nails.
