1. Put together your crumbled eye shadow

Got yourself a brand new, favorite eye shadow and suddenly oops! only eye shadow chunks now survives a fall? This is what you have to do to put your eye shadow together:

a. Gather the broken piece, put the chunks of eye shadow in a clear plastic bag and use a buttering knife or something similar to crush the chunks into fine powder by pressing the top of the bag with the knife handle.

b. Take the eye shadow powder out of the bag and then, saturate it with rubbing alcohol.

c. Take a piece of clean tissue and press down on this mixture forcefully. This is done to compact to it. Once it has regained its compact form, set it aside to dry properly.

2. Broken lipstick

All you need to make your broken lipstick back to ‘good as new’ are a lighter, sandwich bag, the broken lipstick’s tube and gloves

a. Place the broken lip color stick on a sandwich bag and put it in the freezer for 10 minutes. This is done to make it easier to work with the lipstick.

b. Take out the lip color stick and try to find where the breakage took place. Do some jig saw puzzle work and you’re done. Your lipstick would be in one whole piece, just like when you brought it.

3. Stuck nail polish cap

You need the problematic nail polish remover, gloves, some Vaseline and a sandwich bag to get your nail polish cap working like a good one.

a. Wear your gloves and screw open the cap of the nail polish (somehow for once).

b. Clean any excess of nail polish (which could be the cause for the bottle being hard to open) around the rim of the bottle with a piece rough cloth and then apply a little Vaseline on the rim. This will give you easy openings of the bottle the next time you want to use it.

4. Clogged spray bottle

To unclog your spray bottle, all you would have to do would be:

a. Hold the blocked nozzle under a stream of warm water.

b. Scrap away any residue that may be clogging the squirt hole of the bottle with a cloth. If it still remains clogged, take a tooth pick and pick the cloggers away. This should make your bottle squirt without any problem.
